A NOTE ON THE CERTIFICATE: 

Divine Dreadlocks Training offers private certification. This means you have been trained by a very experienced professional dread loctician and professional teacher, who has assessed your ability to apply the DH&H technique correctly to create, maintain & extend dreadlocks in a professional manner.
There are no government accredited certificates in "natural dreadlocking" as the government doesn't recognise dreadlocking as a trade skill outside of the hairdressing industry. Em looked into becoming an RTO (registered Training Organisation and it costs around $100k plus $60k per course to have the govt endorse it. And for a skill that they know nothing about this would be a total waste of money that would inevitably increase the cost of the course greatly. It is in everyone's best interests that dreadlocking courses NEVER become govt endorsed or standardized. 

It is important to all natural Locticians worldwide to keep the crochet method of dreadlocking as a skill separated from the hairdressing industry (which is why Em won't offer this course at TAFE) to keep the courses a low price, to keep it 100% natural and to keep it unrestricted.

The "government accredited" hairdressers method of dreadlock creation taught at TAFE in Australia is restricted to qualified hairdressers only and uses harmful chemicals and wax, They teach a method that creates low quality dreadlocks that require a lot more work on behalf of the client before the dreads are properly locked and it is highly regulated. 

Divine Dreadlocks & all Natural Locticians do not ever use or endorse chemicals or wax.
